Submitting a Presentation for On-Site Use

Naming Your Files Correctly

Please remember that there are many speakers at the ASCRS. If all presenters label their PowerPoint files 2008 ASCRS, there is a chance that some may be mistaken with others of the same name. To help us, please name your file as follows (separate fields with underscores):

Format: TalkDate_RoomNumber_TalkTime_LastName_FirstName

Example: 040808_Rm6CF_1330_Smith_Scott.ppt

o TalkDate: 040808 (format is MMDDYY for April 8th, 2008)
o RoomNumber: 06CF (for Room 6C – 6F)
o TalkTime: 1330 (format is military time for 1:30 PM)
o LastName: Smith
o FirstName: Scott

Submitting Your Presentation

Speakers now have 4 ways to submit presentations; by mail, e-mail, online upload or on-site in the Speaker Ready Room. We encourage you to pre-submit your presentation(s), however, you may bring your presentation(s) directly to the Speaker Ready Room in San Francisco on CD-R, Floppy-Disk, or USB-Memory Stick. All pre-submitted presentations will be reviewed by AVMG for common errors such as issues caused by MAC to PC conversions. Should AVMG find any errors with your presentation they will contact you to work out the best solution.
